Good list.
Here are two books both by Bryan Petersen which I have and think are pretty good. The one on exposure is something for every photographer, while the other one though not food oriented is good for close-up photography.

Wow, what a great list of some awesome books! I’d say understanding exposure should be on the list too just like Aparna. That was my first photography book and is a must have for the beginners.
Hard to get but….
Lighting for food and drink photography by Steve Bavister
My all time favorite is the Lou Manna “Digital photography” and “Food Styling for Photographers: A Guide to Creating Your Own Appetizing Art”. But can anybody suggest a book on food styling and photography for bloggers. In the books available in the market the food you are shooting becomes inedible, which is not wanted by somebody who shoots for her blog.
A must read.
Light – Science and Magic
This is a MUST GET book for anyone doing product/food/tabletop photography. It will give you a real understanding of lighting.
