There are around 600 different shapes of pasta. Tube like, hair like, flat noodles, twisted ones and more. I believe, pasta is also one of the most popular food and something that can be easily made at home. If you want to practice food photography, pasta seems to be a good candidate to prepare and shoot at home. Below are 8 different pasta shots, think about how these photos were taken. Think about how the camera was placed and where the light was. Don’t just look, observe.

Nice past pics. One tip I learned recently from Food Photographer, Lou Manna, is to try not to let any ends of the pasta showing in dishes like spaghetti, linguini, fettuccini, basically any lengthy pasta. I thought that was a good tip!
